There is a powerful reminder that shepherding is a work of heart.� Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life. Proverbs 4:23� This reading reminded me that ultimately, shepherding is not about skill set or competencies but about heart. A great deal of North American leadership is focussed on technique or methodology. This meditation is reminder that shepherding flows from the heart.
