I believe what you posted made a great deal of sense. But, think on this, what if you were to write a killer headline? I am not suggesting your content is not solid, however what if you added a title to possibly grab a person's attention? I mean %BLOG_TITLE% is a little boring. You could look at Yahoo's front page and note how they write post titles to grab people to click. You might add a related video or a related pic or two to grab readers interested about what you've got to say. Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
