A succession of under-shepherds will be handled by God. The Lord God will provide leaders for His people. Linak discussed how Moses would die; however, Joshua was prepared to move forward as the spiritual leader. The death of a spiritual leader is not the death of the ministry. It is God who has chosen a spiritual leader for a season, and when needed, He will call them home. God is ultimately calibrating and configuring His leadership strategy working through those men and women He calls to lead. Moreover, it is critical to understand that it is God’s leading at all times. In Moses and Joshua, we see their bodies, hear their voices, or feel their energy; however, it is God working through them. They are the willing vessels prepared for God’s use; however, it is ultimately God at work in the life of His people. Thus, the glory belongs to Him and not us, and He will provide leaders appropriate for His ministry.
