When things go wrong, I usually want justice, wanting to get even with another person. Yet I am reminded from this devotional that I really want God to be the one exacting justice. It is freeing that I am not the one that is responsible for that. God is continuing to develop in me the heart of the shepherd, which is helping me to rely on him for all my sustenance specifically relating to how others view me. My hope is that God will move me form Justice to compassion for those around me!
