Our Own Quenched Thrist

I am reminded of my recent plane flight and the flight attendant's saftey message...If you are travel with a child place the O2 mask on yourself before placing the mask on you child
Similarly, we need to quench our thirst..keep the wellspring of our life refreshed so that we can call and model to our flock the need to sip regularly from the still, sweet waters...a place of renewal.
I have to admit, this is a most difficult lesson. I am quick to see the need, but, so slow in making it a permanent part of who I am. Not exacting a good model. May God use this time of reflection to bring about transformation in my life.
