For me the desert were times when I do not see what God was doing in my life. I had to wait to see how God was working it all out. One time was when I was going through a transition from Junior High Ministry to Children’s Ministry in our church. First it was a big lesson on how to handle disappointment with an unsettling relationship with an employee (assistant to my ministry). I felt betrayed and cheated from my ministry. I also learned through the process that God was leading me to a different ministry. I can see now his direction for my life. I have seen the greener pastures and at the same time it started me on the understanding of what leadership is. Like Arrow Leadership ask: How do I lead like Jesus? How do I lead more to Jesus? How am I being lead more by Jesus? This is the greener pasture when we are lead by Jesus.
