Called to care

The shepherd is called to care for the sheep. Often this concept gets lost in our busy lives and ministries. Even worse, at times we feel like the sheep get in the way of our calling. Sermons, administration and sacraments are all tools God has given to us to care for his sheep. When doing these things become the end instead of the means, we must refocus and return to our calling to care.
