Encouraging sheepdogs

The past nine months the national church leadership that we work with has been dealing with the destruction caused by a wolf, a false prophet, in a couple of our local churches.
One of the things that has come out during their investigation was that there were a couple of sheepdogs who over the last several years were barking loud about the wolf. Leadership, however, was being fooled by the sheep clothes that the wolf was wearing. It is very sad the destruction that this wolf caused.
I want to be one who is ready to listen to the sheepdogs and not be one who ignores what they are saying because the facts are just too inconvenient. I pray that I also will have the courage to be the barking dog when I see danger, even though it may make me unpopular. May my ministry have the end result of keeping the flock together.
