The world is like a desert and it leaves us feeling hungry and thirsty. Like the desert, there is nothing that can give life or even preserve life. The people of this world are in need of the greener pastures and it is the people of God who have found it that must show where to find it. The responsibility to provide the greener pastures in this world belongs to the church. The church is where the people of this world can find the greener pastures. The church is where the Word of God is taught, the Spirit of God is felt, and the Love of God is experienced. The church is where the people should get a chance to taste what the eternal fellowship with God and worship of God will be like.
