As I reflect on this particular chapter, I want to consider how ministry can be done from one person to another, but ministry can also be a team effort. The minister proclaims the Gospel, visits the sick, provides the Sacraments to the people under his or her care, but the lay person is also able to live a life of word and service to their neighbor. In the church, we strive to have programs for each other and for the community, whereby we can build up the body of Christ to the glory of God. Ministry is not meant to be one man show, but, rather, doing ministry means working together as the people of God for the glory of God.
