While familiarizing myself with the contents of the book “While Shepherd’s Watch Their Flocks�, my heart raced and my interest spiked when I saw the topic of day seven, “Feed My Sheep�. The Lord spoke to me while at my desk at work and used those exact words. I’m humbled by the call.
‘Feeding’ is crucial to the growth and health of the flock – from young to old. It is truly vital that shepherds know what is poisonous and what is good for the flock’s consumption. Additionally, the shepherd of God’s flock must also feed on nutritious spiritual food while teaching the flock how to feed themselves. Feeding ourselves with the empty calories provided on Television and by endless browsing on the internet, just won’t suffice. Spiritual food is required!
