Feed my Sheep

Feed my sheep. I heard these words at my ordination four years ago at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. I remember Dr. Havens preaching my ordination sermon and saying that my vocation directs me to feed the oldins and the youngins alike. During the past year and a half there were a lot of events to take our eyes off of Jesus and the Holy Scriptures. It took much time, study, and reflection to be able to deliver God’s message to my people every Sunday.

I have heard many stories of how churches are struggling to bring their people back to Sunday worship on a regular basis after the pandemic. Fortunately, the church I Pastor has not had that problem, at least not yet. The Lord has blessed us by having strong Sunday school teachers, and a wonderful and faithful group of people.
