Day 21 Dogs

I saw a train wreck in the making, rooted in ignorance. Blind to sin. Oblivious to leadership. Dismissive to cause and effect. Avoidance was not an option. Gods word was shouting and The Spirit was pushing me. In spite of it being late Sunday night, I made the phone call asking to meet now. I went, I sat, I spoke, laying out the sin, pushed through leadership abdication and played out the cause and effect, knowing my employment could be in peril. God moved in our hearts, protecting my dear friend from a train wreck.

Decades later this chapter has led me to survey the landscape. I see it’s time to speak up. A flock is wandering. It’s time gather them. Resources need protecting. Keep taking action. Gods word is still speaking. The Spirit is pushing. Bark!
